Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a high-purity emission control solution used in modern diesel engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. DEF is a clear, non-toxic, non-flammable liquid composed of 32.5% high-purity automotive grade urea and 67.5% deionized water, specially formulated to reduce harmful exhaust emissions from diesel vehicles and industrial equipment.
DEF is not a fuel additive and does not mix with diesel fuel. Instead, it is stored in a separate tank and automatically injected into the exhaust stream, where it helps convert harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) gases into harmless nitrogen and water vapor, significantly reducing environmental pollution.Diesel Exhaust Fluid is an advanced emission reduction solution designed to meet strict global emission standards such as BS-VI, Euro 6, EPA, and other environmental regulations.
