Distilled Acid Oil (DAO) is a refined and purified form of Acid Oil obtained after distillation processing.
It is mainly produced as a by-product of vegetable oil refining, edible oil processing, soapstock treatment, and fatty acid recovery plants.

During refining, crude acid oil contains impurities such as:

• Moisture
• Gums
• Soap content
• Free fatty acids (FFA)
• Suspended solids

Through vacuum distillation, these impurities are removed and converted into high-purity distilled fatty acid oil, known as Distilled Acid Oil.
