Used Black Engine Oil (UEO) is a waste lubricant oil collected after use in engines, machinery, and automotive systems. Over time, fresh engine oil degrades due to high temperature, oxidation, and contamination, resulting in a thick, dark-colored oil commonly known as used or black engine oil. Used Black Engine Oil (UEO) refers to lubricating oil collected after extended usage in diesel engines, petrol engines, generators, heavy machinery, automobiles, marine engines, and industrial equipment. During engine operation, fresh lubricating oil undergoes thermal stress, oxidation, and contamination, resulting in a dark black appearance due to accumulated carbon particles, metal residues, fuel impurities, and degraded additives.
UEO is widely recycled and reprocessed to recover valuable hydrocarbons and base oil components. It serves as an important raw material for re-refining industries, pyrolysis plants, fuel blending operations, and industrial heating applications.
Used Black Engine Oil is previously utilized lubricating oil drained from engines after completion of its service cycle. Although it no longer meets lubrication standards for engines, it still contains significant energy value and recoverable petroleum fractions.
Instead of disposal, UEO is collected, filtered, and supplied for industrial reuse or refining processes, contributing to environmental sustainability and resource conservation.
